With his dwindling supply of red roses, The Bachelor appears to have all the power on the TV3 series, but this week, the tables were turned on Jordan Mauger.
In a shock exit last night, the baby of the show, 24-year-old Nicole left the mansion for good, telling the blue-eyed hunk a “distraction at home” inspired her decision.
But that wasn’t the only driving force, says the veterinarian student, who didn’t feel an ounce of chemistry with Jordan.
“I didn’t feel a connection with him at all,” she says. “He was a lot older than me – I never saw him as anything more than just a big brother.”

It was a feeling shared by Lara, the jilted bachelorette who was left high and dry without a rose last night.
Speaking of her final cocktail party, the marketing manager, 27, says, “It was a little bit of a relief. The whole thing is pretty emotional draining.”
During her entire time on the TV3 show, Lara claims to have only spent two hours with the handsome star, making it near impossible to get to know the real Jordan.
“If I’m honest, there was genuinely no spark, and I just couldn’t force it. He was a nice guy, pretty charming and all that, but I didn’t have a strong physical connection with him.
“I just wasn’t there emotionally, and I wasn’t prepared to wear my heart on my sleeve.”
