After months of dodging the paparazzi and keeping a low profile, Taylor Swift has finally been spotted out and about in a rare public appearance over the weekend.
The pop star was snapped on her way in and out of her mother Andrea Swift’s Nashville home, shortly before flying back out of town on her private jet. According to multiple reports, Taylor arrived around midday on Saturday and was seen walking into the house wearing white shorts, a neutral-coloured sweater and her hair down in her signature long bob.
On Sunday, she was seen again leaving the house with a driver, dressed down in a striped T-shirt dress and her hair pulled back from her face.
The appearance marks the first time Taylor has been photographed in public since January.
Despite her global fame, the 27-year-old singer has made a concerted effort to retreat from the spotlight since the fallout over her highly publicised relationship with Tom Hiddleston, and her spat with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West over the rapper’s song “Famous”.

Unusually, she’s also remained silent on social media, save for two posts praising the new singles released by Lorde and girl band Haim.
So how does one of the most famous celebrities in the whole world just disappear?
According to E! News, Taylor’s been taking a step back to focus on her new music.
“Taylor has been writing and recording her new album in Nashville for the last several months. She has been working on it around the clock and will be making an announcement soon,” a source told the media outlet.
“She is really excited about her new music and can’t wait to share it with her fans.”
As well as new music on the go, the singer has also reportedly struck up a new romance with British actor Joe Alwyn.
Reports out of the UK claim the pair have been dating in secret for months, away from the watchful eye of the paparazzi.
“This isn’t a new couple alert or a secret relationship,” a source told [The Sun]. “The only people this has been a secret to is the media because Taylor and Joe’s closest friends and their families were aware they have been together for several months.”
It’s not surprising the “Bad Blood” songstress would want to keep her relationships private, considering the intense scrutiny her previous romances have had to endure. However, her new love seems to be going from strength to strength.
“Taylor and Joe are the real deal. This is a very serious relationship,” The Sun’s source says.
Taylor has reportedly been dating British actor Joe Alwyn for months.
