Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland dated for over a year after meeting on the set of the 1990 film Flatliners. The loved-up couple were even set to wed, but Julia broke off the engagement amidst rumours that Kiefer had cheated on her with a stripper. She was soon spotted with actor Jason Patric, although that romance fizzled out too.
Rapper Vanilla Ice and Madonna dated for eight months before parting ways in 1992, although not before he posed for a raunchy photo in the Material Girl’s book Sex.
He’s happily settled down now with Mila Kunis, but in his younger years Ashton Kutcher dated Mad Men actress January Jones. However, the actress later revealed he wasn’t very supportive of her acting ambitions. “He was like, ‘I don’t think you’re going to be good at this,'” she told GQ. Ouch!
Modern Family‘s resident bombshell Sofia Vergara enjoyed a brief romance with music superstar Enrique Iglesias, before she found fame on TV as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett.

Back in 2006, after Nick Lachey’s headline-grabbing divorce from Jessica Simpson, the 98 Degrees singer dated reality star Kim Kardashian for a week. He later hinted that Kim had called the paparazzi to photograph their first date together, telling Details: “Let’s just say this: We went to a movie. No one followed us there. Somehow, mysteriously, when we left, there were 30 photographers waiting outside.”
Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey dated in 1996 after meeting on the set of A Time To Kill – and though their romantic relationship didn’t work out, the two have stayed pals over the years. In 2014, Matthew McConaughey was there to help present Sandra with her ‘Decade of Hotness’ gong at that year’s Guy’s Choice Awards.

Friends star Matthew Perry and Mean Girls star Lizzy Caplan kept their long-running romance private, and were rarely photographed together during their six-year relationship. The actor is said to have broken things off with Lizzy in 2012.

Christian Bale has revealed he and Drew Barrymore went on one date together during their teenage years – but it wasn’t a success. “We went to see some bloody awful horror film, and that was the end of it,” he said in a later interview. “She never called again.”
Helen Mirren and Liam Neeson starred together in 1981’s Excalibur and fell in love as the cameras rolled. For a time, the pair even lived together, although the two would later go on to marry other people.

While the two have never publicly confirmed if a relationship did happen, they’ve since co-starred together in one more film (Wanderlust), and Paul also made a cameo on Friends.
Kylie Minogue and Lenny Kravitz dated for a brief period in the early ’90s, shortly after Kylie was left heartbroken by INXS rocker Michael Hutchence. During that time, Lenny memorably told The Mirror: “She [Kylie] has the best arse in Britain … and I can attest to that”.

Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan and Keira Knightley dated for two years from 2003-2005. At the time, Jamie was still a relatively unknown model, and the actor says the relationship taught him about the pitfalls of fame. “Being with Keira was an insight into how rotten the whole thing can be,” he told the Daily Telegraph of all the paparazzi attention. “A young girl is being followed around the street, there is nothing positive to say about that.”
