Step Dave actress Sia Trokenheim says her character Cara – a harried, hard-working mother-of-three – has taught her nothing in life is perfect.
But things are feeling pretty darn good for the Swedish-born stunner who lets Woman’s Day readers in on a little secret this week – she’s pregnant!
Now three months along, the TV2 star and her hubby Andre, 38, are delighted to share their happy news, which Sia discovered after a routine medical check-up.
“My doctor asked if I could be pregnant,” recalls the 36-year-old. “I was pretty adamant I wasn’t, but he insisted I take a test just to be sure – and it came back a very strong positive.”
Sia’s bundle, who is due in June, will be a little brother or sister to her three-year-old son Terenzo and Bruno, 9, Andre’s boy from a previous relationship. But the mummy-to-be has her bets on a baby girl.
“When I was expecting Terenzo, I really wanted a boy. But this time around, I’m hoping for a girl. In fact, I think it is.”
