Several celebrities were named in the list this year, including Charlize Theron, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane The Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez, Caitlyn Jenner, singer Ariana Grande and model Karlie Kloss.
In her speech toasting the 2016 honorees, actress Melissa McCarthy delivered a powerful tribute thanking everyone for their “anarchy”.
“I mean that actually – I kind of mean that from the bottom of my heart. Thinking outside the box like that will change the world, and it doesn’t matter how small or how big,” she said.
