Sonny Bill Williams expecting second child with wife Alana

Family man Sonny Bill Williams has revealed he’s having another child with wife Alana Raffie.

The rugby star has had plenty of time on his hands since crashing out of the NZ Sevens Olympic campaign in Rio this year, but has revealed he now has something extra special to look forward to.

And despite his injury upset, the 31-year-old says he is “the happiest I’ve been for a long time.”

Speaking to Breakfast on Wednesday morning, Sonny Bill put his happiness down to refocusing his attentions to his wife and infant daughter.

“Being able to spend time at home with my girls, just concentrate a bit on family life,” Williams said of what makes him happy.

Sonny is already a doting father to daughter, Imaan

But the popular All Black did admit he found it tough being laid up early on, though he is searching for the silver lining in everything.

On Twitter, the star even admitted that it’s improved his relationship with his daughter, Imaan, who was born in 2014.

“Since I’ve been injured, I try to get Imaan every morning, but she yells for her mumma in the cott. But not today, Daddaaa,” he revealed.

The proud dad shares constantly shares updates about his little family, including he and Imaan having daddy-daughter dates and messing around in the park.

Sonny has also been keeping fans updated about his recovery progress, sharing videos of his training regime.

The star ruptured his Achilles back in August while competing for an Olympic medal, and despite being told he’d be out for a year, Sonny was immediately looking on the Brightside, telling fans he was: “down but never out.”
