Swapping their Ferndale cast costumes for bold, bright togs, Shortland Street sirens Lucy Elliott, Grace Palmer and Laura Thompson are making a real splash on our fun summer pool shoot!
They tell us about their body confidence secrets, summer plans and what they’re looking forward to the most in what’s sure to be another action-packed year ahead for Shorty!
They made a splash with scandalous storylines last year, but the trio (clockwise from left: Laura Thompson, Grace Palmer and Lucy Elliott) warn there’s more troubled waters ahead on Shortland Street!
The sizzling stars are ready to take on summer!
“When I first started modelling at 16, I was told by designers that I was fat because I was a size 10,” Lucy (who plays Dayna) reveals. “Even after I finished modelling, I used to get self-conscious during swimming season. It’s only in the last year that I’ve realised it’s an unhealthy way to think. Now I’d wander around in a bikini all day if I could!”
After a break in Bali with her best mate, Grace is looking forward to doing lots of charity work in the new year. “I want to make sure I start 2016 with all guns blazing,” she reveals.
Laura may be relatively new to Shorty, but she’s already loving “every minute” of the job! “I’ve never woken up and dreaded going into the studio, which is a real gift,” she says.
