Set to hit Kiwi cinemas on March 19, 2015, the action-packed Insurgent features star Shailene Woodley returning as the protagonist Beatrice ‘Tris’ Prior, joined by fellow co-stars Theo James, Ansel Elgort and Kate Winslet.
This time around, there are a few more familiar faces joining the battle, including Octavia Spencer and Naomi Watts.
While filming Insurgent earlier this year, Shailene described the movie as a chance to “switch things up”.
“It’s interesting because the movie feels bigger in tone and in image but in a scene it feels smaller,” she told Hero Complex in August.
“Some scenes feel like we’re doing an indie film in a way because they’re so full of truth.”
