It’s not the first time Selma Blair has broken down, but this time the actress has taken a slightly different route and shared her sadness with her social media fans.
In a tearful post, Selma recounted the events of her recent bad day, explaining what had happened in the caption post.
It seems that it all turned to custard after the 44-year-old drove off from a gas station last Friday, with the pump nozzle still inside her gas tank.

“I drove away from a gas pump with the nozzle still in,” she said. “And then I paid for the broken pump so that was over a 500 dollar tank of gas.”
Feeling “awful for having been so absent-minded,” the actress said she “burst into tears in front of barista after ordering and making everyone uncomfortable.”
She was also upset over accusations by animal rights activists the day before that her fur-trimmed coat was real fur. Selma says it wasn’t real but was “chastised”.
On top of it all, she “ran out of dog food,” and headache medication.
Tragically, at the time of her post, Selma said she was still crying.
“My head is still pounding,” she added. “Can I have someone say this will pass?”
The actress has had some difficult times lately, no more so than last year’s outburst on a plane which saw her removed from a flight on a stretcher.
In an interview explaining the circumstances, Selma said she’d had a psychotic blackout, as a result of reportedly combining alcohol and prescription medication.
She claims she’s been sober since, but said she keeps the incident at the forefront of her mind as a reminder to resist drinking.
“I keep it alive in me every day. I forgive myself, but I keep it alive like this is — things can go really wrong and humiliating.”
