Scarlett Johansson has been named the top grossing actor of 2016 by Forbes magazine in its annual list.
The blonde bombshell took out the number one spot thanks to her work in movies such as Captain America: Civil War and the retro Hollywood satire Hail Caesar. Overall, Forbes reports that the star’s films brought in $1.2 billion globally.
Those numbers put Scarlett above her second-placed Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans, who both tied for second place with $1.15 billion each and who also starred in Captain America: Civil War.
Comic book films were a common trend in the list this year, with Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds coming in at number eight, Suicide Squad’s Will Smith and Margot Robbie coming in at 10th and 4th, respectively, and Amy Adams nabbing the 5th spot thanks in part to her turn as Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Amy’s co-stars in that movie, Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, also made the list at 7th and 6th, respectively.
Of the top 10, only one actor – Rogue One star Felicity Jones – did not have a superhero flick released this year. However, the box office domination of the Star Wars prequel ensured Felicity made her debut on the list this year.
Forbes calculates the rankings based on global ticket sales of the actors’ top films released this year, excluding animated movies.
