Irish pop star Ronan Keating and his wife Storm are expecting their first child together.

Taking to her blog to share the happy news, Storm revealed that she is pregnant – a year to the day since they married.

“THAT’S why I passed on the mulled wine,” Storm joked after sharing a family snap alongside Ronan and his three children from his first marriage, enjoying a traditional Christmas market.

“Words cannot describe how overwhelmed with happiness we are,” Storm gushed.

“We feel so blessed to be adding another little Keating to the family and this news is like all of our Christmas wishes coming true.

“This Christmas we’ll just be asking Santa to keep our baby safe and to spread some extra happiness and joy to you and all your families also.”

Former Boyzone star Ronan met model Storm on the set of X Factor, when both parties were married to other people, he to Yvonne Connolly, she to Tim Ivers.

But after striking up an unlikely friendship, then a romance, the couple became serious – marrying five years down the line. And now one year later they’ve announced they’re expecting.

For Australian-born Storm, 35, this will be her first child, while she is step-mum to Ronan’s three children from his previous marriage.

Storm spoke out about the “complicated” start to their romance, telling Irish magazine VIP that it was “extraordinarily difficult because there were so many people involved – the kids especially.”

Ronan’s first marriage to childhood sweetheart Yvonne hit the rocks when he had an affair with backup dancer Francine Cornell. And despite trying to make things work, the couple separated in 2011.

Four years later, he wed Storm, while Yvonne is dating cinematographer John Conroy.
