Robbie Williams and Ayda Field battle sexual harassment claims

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field have been forced to deny claims they sexually harassed former personal assistant Gilles De Bonfilhs, after he filed a lawsuit against them in the Superior Court of California.

Gilles, who worked for Robbie and Ayda between October 2014 and January 2015, alleges that Ayda made comments “of a sexual nature” towards him, exposed her naked body to him and asked him to comment on how she looked. Gilles also claims Ayda told him plenty of details about her sex life and probed him for information about his own.

While he doesn’t make any similar claims about Robbie, both he and Ayda are named in Gilles’ lawsuit.

The couple, who say they fired Gilles over “serious misconduct”, have completely denied his claims in a statement released through Robbie’s spokesman.

“The claims being made by a disgruntled former employee, after he was sacked for serious misconduct, are entirely without substance,” the spokesman said.

“Any proceedings will be strenuously defended. There will be no further comment on the matter as it is in the hands of the lawyers.”
