New Zealand dance sensation Parris Goebel is all glammed up at the MTV Video Music Awards, donning a stunning Pasifika-themed gown that pays tribute to her Samoan heritage.
The talented 24-year-old, who is up for three of the top MTV Moonman trophies tonight, showed off her look on Twitter. “Proud Polynesian on the red carpet,” she wrote.

While many of the awards have yet to be handed out, Parris’ distinctive touch is already all over this year’s ceremony.
Rihanna, this year’s Video Vanguard recipient, opened the show to thunderous applause performing dance moves choreographed by Parris.
