Talk about a mirror image! It was easy to see the family resemblance between Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon and her lookalike daughter Ava Phillippe as the pair hit the town for a big premiere event on Tuesday.
The mother-daughter duo were there to celebrate the launch of Reese’s new HBO limited TV series, Big Little Lies, which also stars Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and Zoe Kravitz. Reese both stars in and produces the show.

Reese, 40, and Ava, 17, looked happy to pose together for the cameras, with both donning glamorous gowns for the occasion.
Reese donned an edgy sequinned minidress from Elie Saab, accentuated with black heels and minimal jewellery.
Ava also opted for a mini, but hers was a floral metallic design from Haney, finished off with gold heels.

The twosome walked arm-in-arm on the grey carpet before heading inside to watch the screening. Later, Ava celebrated at the after party alongside her mother.
On Instagram, the teen shared a sweet photo of herself with Reese at the event, writing: “So proud of my awesome mama and her passion for this project. It is so nice to see these wonderful, talented women in roles just as dynamic as they are.”
Ava is Reese’s daughter from her previous marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe, whom she also shares son Deacon with. The star is now married to talent agent Jim Toth, and the couple welcomed their son Tennessee in 2012.
At the glitzy premiere, Reese was only too happy to gush about her beloved daughter, telling Vanity Fair that Ava “wanted to come out and support me tonight, and that was really sweet of her.”
The duo’s resemblance wasn’t lost on Reese either, with the actress revealing, “She’s a beautiful person inside and out. She’s just a good soul. I’m not sure what she thinks. I’m just ‘Mom’ to her. We’re happy to share this wonderful experience.”
