It was a stunning Auckland night as the stars of women’s tennis turned out to celebrate the start of the ASB Classic.
Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki were among the star-studded guests who drank, danced and mingled at a VIP players’ party at True Food + Yoga in Mission Bay.
Venus, whose sister Serena is also here for the tournament but didn’t attend the bash, looked incredible in a leopard print jumpsuit, and sipped on Moët and Chandon champagne as she mingled with guests, telling everyone who delighted she was to be in New Zealand once again.
Earlier in the day she and Serena, who just announced her engagement to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, played in an exhibition match against All Black brothers Julian and Artie Savea in what was the most one sided tennis game in history- though the brothers did get some help from Caroline eventually!
The ASB Classic kicks off today, with the women’s competition followed by the men’s.
