But Naz is now challenging the trolls who have slated her online to take her on face-to face in the boxing ring.
Woman’s Day can exclusively reveal that Naz is competing in The Burger King Road to the Title boxing bout in Christchurch on July 21. She will be undercard to heavyweight superstar Joseph Parker, and a nationwide search by promoters Duco Events for her opponent is now underway.
“I think this is the perfect opportunity for people to come and say whatever they’ve got to say to my face,” challenges Naz in Woman’s Day magazine this week.
“To all those keyboard warriors sitting at home writing mean things anonymously – why not stop being cowards and get in the ring? Anyone who wants to fight me – bright it on!,” says Naz, who has been secretly training in a Christchurch gym for several weeks now.
“A lot of people think I’ve got a big mouth. I’m giving them the chance to shut me up,” she says.
“Anyone who sledges me is on my hit list. But a word of warning ladies – I hit back!”
She may have come second on The Bachelor on TV3 when vying for handsome Jordan Mauger’s affections, but when it comes to the fight night, Naz is confident he will be courtside.
