Following the arrest of her ex-boyfriend Mark Salling in 2015, Naya has revealed that she “wasn’t shocked” about the accusations that he possessed child porn.
In her new memoir Sorry Not Sorry she opens up about the day she heard Mark had been taken into custody on two charges related to child pornography.
“My son’s nanny actually told me about it when the story broke. I can’t say I was totally shocked, but still — WTF? Then I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way,” she wrote.
Mark was arrested in December 2015, after a concerned source tipped off the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
Detectives served Mark with a search warrant, and according to the US Attorney’s Office, found “thousands of images” on his laptop, a hard drive and a USB flash drive.

After his arrest, Mark was released from prison on the condition that he pay $100,000, wear a location monitoring bracelet, not possess any device that has Internet access unless supervised or approved beforehand, not associate with anybody under the age of 18 and stay away from areas frequented by children.
The former Glee actress, who is now married to Ryan Dorsey and a proud mum to their son Josey, revealed that she was inconsolable when Mark ended their relationship in 2010.
“When Mark dumped me, I thought it was the worst thing ever, but can you imagine if that didn’t happen? And I was laying there in bed when the battering ram came through the door?”
