Fans of My Big Fat Greek Wedding rejoice! A sequel to the loveable 2002 romantic comedy has just been announced.
Actress Nia Vandals will reprise her role as Toula, with actor John Corbett once again playing the role of her love interest, and now husband Ian Miller. The extended Portokalos family will also make a reappearance.
Nina revealed in May that she was writing the follow-up film’s screenplay, which will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
“The entireMy Big Fat Greek Wedding*family is invited back and we’ll have a few new guests.”
The film, entitled My Big Fat Greek Life, will reportedly see the Portokalos family gather for a ‘bigger, fatter wedding’ and see a family secret revealed.
