After a rocky past few months, it seems Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger have officially split up.
A source tells People the breakup stems from the fact the couple are going in different directions.
“They’re just in two different places in their lives – he’s in college and she’s focused on her music and career,” the source said.
Miley and Patrick were first spotted together in November last year, and went public with a date at a university football game. The two were spotted enjoying romantic dates and getaways together in the months that followed, but their relationship came under the spotlight in March this year, when Patrick was photographed looking cosy with a mystery girl during his spring break in Mexico.
Despite the controversy, the couple are said to have kept things amicable with their split.
