The Bachelor New Zealand host Mike Puru is set to be replaced by Dominic Bowden, according to reports.
Puru, who already hosts TV3’s breakfast show The Cafe, is moving onto “new and exciting prospects,” according to his agent Paul Ellis.
However, Ellis confirmed “it was not Mike’s decision to leave the show”.
Puru presented the first two seasons of The Bachelor New Zealand, that saw Art Green and Jordan Mauger find matches on the show.
His replacement, Dominic Bowden is best known for presenting Dancing with the Stars New Zealand, New Zealand Idol and The X Factor New Zealand.
The 37-year-old presenter is currently in the US, as he attended the All Blacks match vs Ireland over the weekend. But it looks like he could be returning to Kiwi shores very soon.
