It was the battle of the futuristic gowns at this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit in New York.

The Met Gala lived up to its fashion forward reputation, seeing some of the biggest names in Hollywood transform their style for the evening.

Stars certainly got creative with this year’s theme – Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.
