Suits star, and girlfriend to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has announced she is shutting down her lifestyle blog.
The actress shared the news of The Tig’s closure on the site’s homepage as well as on Instagram.
In a letter addressed “To all my Tig friends”, Meghan wrote: “After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being ‘the change you wish to see in the world.'”
The star closed the missive reminding readers to always remember their worth, saying “as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough.”
She signed off the note: “Thank you for everything.”
Meghan shared a similar message to her Instagram feed, but instead of posting photos from her blog, she posted a montage of the blog’s fans.
News of the site’s closure has been met with an outpouring of support, with many commenters wishing her well.
There are also those calling The Tig’s ending a sign that a royal proposal could be on the cards.
The Los Angeles-born actress and the British royal have been together for close to a year, and speculation is running rife as to whether they will become engaged.
It’s also been rumoured the Toronto-based star may be considering quitting her role on Suits.
According to the Daily Star, the actress could be looking to step down from the hit series so she can live in London.
