Margot Robbie won millions of fans when she stripped off in The Wolf of Wall Street, but among Hollywood’s jealous wives, she is piling up enemies.
The Aussie beauty’s sizzling chemistry with her leading men is so scorchingly obvious that it has sparked paranoia and distrust among even the movie world’s most solid couples. In some fearful circles, she has even been dubbed “the new Angelina Jolie” – the biggest threat to A-list marriages since the pillow-lipped superstar bagged a married Brad Pitt on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith 12 years ago. This is all despite former Neighbours star Margot, 25, being in a relationship of her own with British film director Tom Ackerley since 2013.
Still, you can’t blame some of the wives for seeing red when their men not only go gaga but openly admit to it. The most explosive rumour to date involves Margot and Will Smith, whose love scenes in the comedy thriller Focus radiated such red-hot energy, they were practically a fire risk. A dazed Will, 47, later explained of meeting Margot, “You can’t create chemistry. You either have it or you don’t. And when she walked in, it was palpable.”
When they could hardly take their hands off each other on the red carpet of the film’s London premiere last February, it was the final straw for Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, 44. A source close to the actress reveals, “Jada was furious. She’s known Will for more than 20 years, so it’s obvious when he has the hots for someone. She doesn’t trust Margot one bit.”

Racy photos
By then, Jada had already had to endure scrutiny of her marriage when pictures emerged of dad-of-three Will getting cosy with Margot in a photo booth during the filming of Focus. In the shots, the actress lifts up her top to reveal a lacy bra while Will presses his bare chest against her back.
Margot took to Twitter to fume, “It’s disappointing that goofing around on set could be taken so out of context.” But after their tactile red-carpet display, rumours swirled that golden couple Will and Jada were on the brink of divorce.

The pair starred together in thriller Focus, where they played each other’s love interests.

Margot shot to Hollywood fame after starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street.
The stars have denied the claims, with Jada saying, “You’ve got to trust who you are with and at the end of the day, I’m not his watcher – he’s a grown man.” She must have some faith in her husband because Will was back filming with Margot again last year on the superhero blockbuster Suicide Squad. But Will is far from the only star drawn to Margot’s beauty. He’s not even the only actor in Suicide Squad to be reportedly smitten.
Ben Affleck plays Batman in the flick, and when he and wife Jennifer Garner revealed they were to divorce last June, it was said that Ben, 43, had become close to the actress during filming. A set insider reported, “Ben has had the hots for Margot since he saw her in The Wolf of Wall Street. As far as he is concerned, Margot is the sexiest woman in Hollywood right now.”

When not on set, Margot lives a low-key life with Tom in London.
The blonde bombshell was also linked to True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard, 39, who is British fashion guru Alexa Chung’s current boyfriend and Margot’s co-star in another upcoming film, The Legend of Tarzan.
Last January, while attending the Sundance Film Festival together, Margot and Alexander were spotted partying in a club. A witness claims, “They were very touchy-feely and at one point were full on kissing.” Despite all the rumours, Margot has maintained a steady relationship with her boyfriend Tom. The pair met when they both worked on 2014 flick Suite Française and currently live in a five- bedroom home in south London, but the actress admits her schedule makes romance difficult, confessing, “I don’t know how anyone makes a relationship like this work, to be honest.”
Maggot, as she is known to close friends, hails from the small Queensland town of Dalby. She was the third of four children raised by her physiotherapist mum Sarie Kessler. At 17, she decided
to become an actress and moved to Melbourne, where she landed a three-year part on Neighbours as bisexual teen Donna Freedman. When her contract ended, she flew to Los Angeles to try her luck.
She auditioned for a role on the TV remake of Charlie’s Angels, but was instead offered a part in the airline drama Pan Am. That show was quickly axed, but a couple of months later, in June 2012, her big break finally came.
Margot was asked to audition for the role of Naomi, “the hottest blonde ever” and the trophy wife of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in The Wolf of Wall Street. Engrossed in her scene, she thought she’d blown her chance when she accidentally slapped Leo. She recalls thinking, “They’re going to arrest you because that’s assault. You’re never going to work again!”
But director Martin Scorsese loved her passion and she won the part. Even Leo said, “Hit me again!” The rest is history … Watch out, Hollywood wives!
