Madonna talked about the brief fling on Howard Stern’s radio show, revealing she had been in a relationship with Tupac the same year she made a controversial appearance on the David Letterman show.

“I was mad at [David] when I said the F-word a lot,” she said of her expletive-ridden 1994 appearance on the talk show.

“I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up about life in general.”

The star also opened up about a traumatic experience of rape at the age of 19, when she had just moved to New York City. A man had invited her to use the telephone in his home, as she had no money for a pay phone – and that’s when the attack happened.

She never reported the rape to police, saying she felt “too humiliated” at the time.

“You’ve already been violated. It’s just not worth it. It’s too much humiliation,” Madonna said of the incident.

The star has gone on to have a string of high-profile relationships, including a seven-year marriage to director Guy Ritchie (with whom she has son Rocco) and a brief marriage to actor Sean Penn.
