As Madonna prepared for her Vector Arena show, the superstar singer’s 10-year-old children Mercy James and David Banda escaped their luxurious lodgings for a taste of Kiwi life!
With a bodyguard and two female chaperones, the excited pair arrived at Muriwai Beach in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes with blacked-out windows but never revealed their identities to the guide.
“They were really lovely children, ever so polite, but I had no idea who they were,” says Antoinette Tuffnell, of About Riding.
While she was here, Madonna fell in love with New Zealand and took to Instagram to share a video of Mercy cartwheeling around Auckland’s Mt Victoria.
“Mercy flies in New Zealand! What a beautiful magical place!” she captioned the video.
