Madonna has attracted her fair share of criticism lately, first for including civil rights icons like Nelson Mandela in her ‘Rebel Heart’ album promo and most recently, for kissing Drake onstage at Coachella.
All that controversy doesn’t seem to have dampened her fighting spirit, though, as the Material Girl took to Instagram to fire off a statement aimed at her haters.
“Shut up jealous b*tches! I hope you are as fun loving and adventurous as me when you’re my age!!!!!” she wote.
It’s been a busy few months for the ‘Living For Love’ singer, who has been everywhere promoting her latest album.
Her performance at the Brit Awards was unfortunately overshadowed by a fall offstage, and at the Coachella music festival in April, Madonna set tongues wagging once again when she surprised Drake with a long kiss onstage.
Recently, the star also announced the first five dates of her ‘Rebel Heart’ world tour would be postponed, as Madonna wanted the show to be “perfect” and “assembling all the elements” was taking more time than expected.
