The Kiwi star was spotted sporting a white cast on her left arm, as she walked the red carpet in a beautiful Valentino gown at the Met Gala yesterday in New York.
But the singer wasn’t about to let a cast get in her way of looking stylish at the star-studded event.
The 19-year-old instead made it a very sought after accessory (in the fan world anyway) by turning the plaster into an autographed souvenir.
She took to Instagram with a picture alongside this caption: “If u ever wanna know who was at the 2016 met gala they’re all on my arm.”
Lorde made a quick change as she headed to an after party in New York, in a little leather dress.
In prime spot was Kanye West’s inking and of course bestie Taylor Swift made her mark followed by a whole bunch of A-listers.
It is still not clear why Lorde was wearing a cast – but we love the fact our girl knows how to make an unwanted accessory work!
