Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are home for the holidays, and this year the Australian actor is spending Christmas with his future in-laws.
In an adorable festive Instagram snap posted by Miley’s sister Brandi, the Cyrus clan and Liam are cuddled up in front of a Christmas tree with their pets.
“Cyrus fam Christmas in full swing,” Brandi captioned the photo.
The couple were joined by Miley’s parents Billy Ray and Tish and her siblings Trace, Noah, Brandi and Braison.
The former Hannah Montana actress who was dressed in her finest festive ensemble, a star-studded dressing gown and cat ears, later shared her own Instagram photo snuggled up with her fiance’s dog, Dora.
After calling quits on their engagement in 2013, Miley and Liam got back together at the end of last year after she spent New Year’s Eve with Liam and the Hemsworth family in Byron Bay.
“Of course it was hard, man,” the 26-year-old told GQ Australia in a rare interview about his breakup.
“But we were both going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen.”
“We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time — we both needed that.”
After a few months back together she was spotted wearing the same ring he originally proposed with back in June 2012.
Miley later confirmed rumours that she was engaged again during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
Liam has never shied away from the fact that Miley has a hold over him. “You fall in love with who you fall in love with, you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. We were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change,” he told Men’s Fitness last year.
Since rekindling their romance, a source told People the more “low key” couple is better than ever: “With Liam back in her life, she seems to enjoy it much more.”
