With two painful (and very public) breakups in her recent history, it’s no wonder that Taylor Swift is rumoured to be back in the studio.
Now, fans may have gotten a sneak peek of new music from the pop star thanks to a Snapchat video leaked by Swift squad member and fellow singer Kelsea Ballerini.
After 15 months, Taylor and Calvin called in quits in June last year
In the short clip, which surfaced over the weekend, audio can be heard playing inside a studio.
The singer sounds identical to Taylor Swift, and the song contains the following lyrics: “We didn’t know it / thought we could grow it / beautiful for a moment / we were roses.”
Taylor and Tom ended their whirlwind fling after only three months
The internet has already started speculating that the lyrics could be a reference to either one of Taylor’s recent breakups with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, but the singer’s camp has yet to confirm whether the tune is a new track, a song cut from 1989, a duet between Taylor and Kelsea or a whole other project entirely.
