Lea Michele is baring it all on the cover of the latest Women’s Health UK.
The 29-year-old stripped down for a tasteful nude shoot for the publication, revealing her third tattoo inked in honour of late boyfriend Cory Monteith in the process.
The cover photo shows the name ‘Finn’ inked in small black letters on the star’s left buttock. As Glee fans will know, this was the name of Cory’s loveable character on the hit show, where he and Lea first met and fell in love.
Lea also has the number ‘5’ tattooed under her arm as a reference to the jersey number Cory wore in character as quarterback Finn, and the words ‘if you say so’ spelled out across her ribcage.
The phrase references the single of the same name from her 2013 album Louder, which was written about Cory.
While fans haven’t seen the ‘Finn’ tattoo yet, Lea took to Twitter to explain the ink is actually an older design she’s had for years.
“Actually got that tattoo in December 2011!” she wrote. “Boy was that a fun night.”
The couple met and fell in love on the set of Glee, where their characters also shared a romance.
In the interview accompanying the nude shoot, the actress opened up about learning to love her body and all of its imperfections.
“I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to represent myself as being some perfect girl, but I love myself, flaws and all,” she told the magazine.
“Everyone has their own things, and I have my own list. Right now, I feel physically in my best shape, and emotionally in my best place.”
