Kiwi star Jemaine Clement has been confirmed as an actor on Marvel’s upcoming TV show, Legion.
The Flight of the Conchords actor, who is more well-known for his comedic roles, was confirmed by series director Noah Hawley on Instagram.
Legion, which is being filmed in the states, is set in the X-Men universe, and follows a mutant named David Haller.
David is the son of the infamous Professor X, and is believed to be one of the most powerful mutants of all time.
But believing he’s mentally ill, rather than gifted, David starts out in a psychiatric institution.
And while the role Jemaine will play has not yet been specified, it has been confirmed that he’ll appear in multiple episodes.
The series will debut next year.
