Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington, has opened up about his proposal to on-screen lover Rose Leslie, during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Although no one was quite prepared for the hilarious comment that slipped from the actor’s mouth…
“I did have some plans to do it, I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff, but we were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine and I blew my load early,” he said before laughing at the insinuation.
“Sorry that’s a really bad expression!” he continued. “I was meant to do it the day after with the lights. What I meant to say was, I popped my question a bit early. Not blew my load.”

Harrington also mentioned the acting pair’s upcoming wedding revealing that he’s hoping the entire ‘GOT’ cast will be able to make the big event. After all, the series is a huge part of the couple’s love story.
“I rang [the producer] up and I said, ‘I’m getting married and it’s your fault actually’… I was like, ‘You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding by the way.’ They [The cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down,” the groom-to-be said.

The couple, who have been dating since 2012, released their engagement very traditionally with an advert in the paper.

During a chat with L’Uomo Vogue Harrington expressed how natural it was falling for Rose.
“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
