Welcoming a new baby into the family can be a tough time for older siblings, and Kim Kardashian has revealed she’s actively working to build that close bond between her daughter North and youngest son Saint.
“We talk about North being a big sister all the time,” the reality star tells Elle.
“Right now, because she’s three, it’s time to talk a lot about sharing. And North is great at sharing. She’s still getting the concept of having a brother, though,” Kim added.
“Like, Penelope and Reign are her cousins, but Saint is here every day because Saint is her brother.”
There’s no doubt that North is close with her cousins (aunt Kourtney Kardashian’s children), but Kim revealed she has a special strategy to help North and Saint bond.
“I like to bring her in to say ‘Good morning’,” she said, adding that three-year-old North still “wants things to be all about her”.
“But planting that seed every morning that the day starts with you and your brother, that’s how I’ve been doing it.”

Kim and hubby Kanye West welcomed Saint, their second child, into the world on December 5. Earlier this year, the reality star opened up about the struggle of raising two children and revealed she had to stop breastfeeding Saint because his big sister was getting jealous.
“She would cry so much and try to pull him off me. She was so jealous she took her little milk box and put it in my bra with the straw sticking out and she wanted to drink while he was drinking,” she confessed during the final episode of older sister Khloe’s short lived talk show Kocktails with Khloe.
