Reality television star Kim Kardashian was tied up and locked in her Paris hotel bathroom while armed men stole around $14 million worth of jewellery.
At around 3am, the mum-of-two had a gun held to her temple while tied up and forced into the bathtub of her luxury accommodation by five men wearing ski masks and police clothing, local media reports.
The television said the star was bound with packing tape while the concierge was found with his hands and feet tied in the staircase.
CNN reports the three men posed as police officers to gain access to the room.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed,” Kim Kardashian West spokesperson Ina Treciokas told CNN.
The Telegraph are reporting that Paris police believe Kardashian several million euros in the robbery.
“The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewellery. The total amount is still being evaluated,” the police said
Her engagement ring – thought to be worth almost $6 million – among what was taken.
Kardashian has since left Paris on a private plane with her sister, Kourtney.
Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, cut a concert short in the US after learning about the attack, telling fans he had to leave for a “family emergency”.
Kardashian was in France for Paris Fashion Week along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister, Kendall Jenner.
The hotel attack comes just days after the celebrity was attacked by notorious “prankster” Vitalii Sediuk as she arrived at a fashion show in Paris.
