Inside Kate Hudson’s very girly baby shower

The Golden Globe winner is set to give birth to her first daughter.

Kate Hudson is expecting her first daughter with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa any day now, and to celebrate, the Hollywood starlet celebrated with a very pink and girly baby shower.

Dressed in white and surrounded by pink and white flowers, the actress and soon-to-be mother-of-three was joined by friends and family to celebrate the imminent arrival of her daughter.

In an Instagram post, Kate thanked her friends including jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer and Danny’s stepsister Sara Foster for throwing the shower for her.

“Grateful for these beauties throwing me the sweetest celebration for baby girl yesterday #WeReady,” she posted on Instagram.

Kate and Danny, who reportedly started dating in March 2017, announced the pregnancy in April 2018 and are expecting their daughter to arrive any day now. The actress, accompanied by her Hollywood star mum Goldie Hawn, told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that her “water could go at any second.”

As for baby names, she confessed they haven’t decided yet.

“We have a couple of them and we’re going to decide when the day comes,” the 39 year-old revealed.

And it’s clear that this little lady is going to be very loved.

“My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way,” the active-wear designer wrote on Instagram when she first announced her pregnancy.

Girl power!

The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress has two children, Ryder Russell Robinson, 14, and Bingham Hawn Bellamy, 6, from two previous relationships with Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy respectively, but this is her first little girl.

Speaking to Pop Sugar in 2017, Hudson, who is a self-confessed feminist, revealed that her boys are very outspoken and that their generation is all about equality and change.

“The thing we need to work on as a country is our educational system. To me, that is something that our generation needs to be focused on. To make sure that for our next generation, every child — no matter what background, no matter what ethnicity, no matter whether they’re whatever gender — that they are all educated to have real equal opportunity. That’s number one for me.

“But I have no question that if it’s not our generation that will make sure that that happens that it will be our children’s generation,” she said.

Producer Heather Parry cradles the baby bump.
