Justin Timberlake found fame as a teenager in *Nsync, but he believes becoming a father is the thing that truly changed everything for him.

The star, who welcomed son Silas in 2015 with wife Jessica Biel, has opened up about his life turning upside down.

“You literally just wake up and look in the mirror and go, ‘I have no idea what I’m doing’,” he said in a new interview with the Today show.

“Yeah it changes everything. I would have never written a song like Can’t Stop the Feeling [before becoming a dad]!”

Justin is currently promoting his new film, Trolls, to which he contributed the hit song. He said it was a relief he had finally made music Silas could enjoy.

“I don’t know that [the song] was directly inspired to be something that my son could listen to of mine, because there’s a lot of music he can’t listen to of mine — at least not yet.”

Justin, 35, also admitted that having a child made him look at his wife, who he married in 2012, in a whole new light.

“It’s crazy, this new appreciation for both of them [Silas and Jessica]. … It’s humiliating and it’s humbling at the same time.”

The couple will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary next week.
