Jordan Mauger has been keeping a low profile since his season of The Bachelor New Zealand wrapped, but it looks like the 32-year-old has found a firm friend in at least one of the bachelorettes he wooed on camera.
Erin Higgins – who finished third on the show – seems to have made an appearance on Jordan’s social media this weekend, with the film buff sharing a group photo that appeared to include the blonde beauty amongst a group of his friends.
The picture showed the group enjoying a whiskey tasting, with Jordan posting this caption: “Whisk me away #whiskeyclub #denverandliely”, a reference to designers Denver Cramer and Liely Faulkner who specialise in creating whisky glasses.
Jordan shared this photo of what looked to be Erin and his friends on Instagram.
Meanwhile, runner-up Nazanin Khanjani, who hit headlines last week for revealing she and Jordan had slept together during their overnight date, left a cryptic comment on the photo that included a line of blowing-kisses emojis.
On Thursday, after the news about his breakup with winner Fleur Verhoeven became public, Jordan released a statement explaining that he had difficulty taking his feelings for Fleur from the show into real life.
“With contributing factors like distance, media, remaining episodes, secrecy, it made it very difficult,” he said.
“After an exhausting schedule of media commitments and the dust settled. I knew I was being dishonest to Fleur and myself.
“It is only fair Fleur is with someone who can give her the best and give her the commitment and love she deserves.”
