The Grammy-winning singer and his model/TV presenter wife, Chrissy Teigen, welcomed their first child Luna Simone Stephens into the world on April 14. Chrissy gave fans their first glimpse at the adorable newborn yesterday, and now John has shared the first full photo of Luna on his own Instagram account.
John shared this adorable photo of Luna on Instagram today.
Chrissy – who has been open about her struggles to conceive in the past – clearly loves being a first-time mum! Yesterday, she revealed her nickname for Luna with a gorgeous picture of the two of them all snuggled up at home.
“Hi my Lulu!” she captioned the photo, looking utterly relaxed and fresh-faced as she beamed at her tiny bundle of joy.

John and Chrissy announced Luna’s birth on social media on Monday. Chrissy shared an image the baby’s chart on social media, which revealed Luna was born last Thursday, April 14, weighing in at almost three kilograms.
“She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” Chrissy wrote on Instagram.
The couple announced the pregnancy six months ago, after Chrissy previously opened up about undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF).
“As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring out first child into the world and grow our family,” Chrissy said as she announced the big news.
With baby Luna safely at home, we’re guessing John and Chrissy will be relishing this time with their first child – but there could be plans to give Luna a sibling or two in the future! Both stars have expressed their excitement for a big family in the past, with Chrissy saying to Huffington Post in 2014, “Hopefully we’ll just have this Angelina-Brad-type brood. I would love that.”
“I definitely want a lot of kids, and he does as well.”
