Former supermodel Jerry Hall and media mogul Rupert Murdoch have tied the knot! The couple made it official with a civil ceremony on Friday, followed by an hour-long private celebration at St Bride’s Church on London’s Fleet Street the next day.
Wearing a pale blue dress and silver ballet flats, 59-year-old Jerry couldn’t keep the grin off her face as she posed for photographs outside the church with her new husband. Chloe and Grace Murdoch and Georgia and Elizabeth Jagger acted as bridesmaids for the ceremony, all outfitted in different shades of blue to match the bride.
After the wedding, the party moved to Spencer House (the same venue where the civil ceremony was held) for the reception. The star-studded guest list included Sir Michael Caine and his wife Shakira, Sir Bob Geldof and his wife Jeanne Marine, and others from the Jagger and Murdoch families including the couple’s children from their previous relationships.
On Saturday, 84-year-old Rupert took to Twitter to share his joy over his nuptials, tweeting: “No more tweets for ten days or ever! Feel like the luckiest AND happiest man in world.”
The lovebirds confirmed their engagement in early January, after just four months of dating, in a newspaper article published by The Times.
“Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement,” the classified advertisement stated.
This marks the fourth marriage for Rupert and the first for Jerry, after her 1990 Bali ceremony with Mick Jagger was ruled invalid.
“They have loved these past months together, are thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future,” a spokesperson for the Murdoch family said at the time.

A radiant Jerry couldn’t keep the smile from her face as she was escorted out of her car by son James.

Barry Humphries, pictured with his wife Lizzie Spender, joked that he’d gotten the newlyweds David Beckham as a wedding gift.
Jerry’s ex Mick Jagger is said to be “seething” over the nuptials. “This means that Rupert Murdoch is going to become a part of his extended family, and Mick has a real problem with that,” an insider told The Daily Mail.
