As one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses, Jennifer Lawrence could have her pick of A-list friends.

But when photos emerged of the Joy star at dinner with the equally likeable Emma Stone and Adele late last year, a new ultimate girl squad was born (sorry, Taylor!).

Now, Jennifer’s spilling all the details on how that famous friendship came to be in a new interview with Glamour magazine.

Adele, Jennifer and Emma were pictured on a night out together in November.

“I love Emma. She cracks me up; she’s so ‘theatre’. She’s so adorable,” Jennifer told the publication.

“And Adele and I met, like, a year or so ago. Adele and I are a bit harsher, Emma’s never had a bad thought about anybody in her life.”

Jennifer’s bond with bestie Amy Schumer has also hit the headlines this year, especially with the duo announcing their plan to co-write and co-star in a comedy flick. Earlier this week, the star revealed the two had already finished the script.

“It’s so weird; I don’t like new people. But these two women – and Amy [Schumer] – they’re really lovely,” she gushed.

“And they’re so normal. I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends – my friends that don’t give a f**k about what I do.”

While she’s adjusted to being in the public eye now, Jennifer confesses it took a while for her to adapt to her level of fame and all that comes with it.

“I didn’t really realise how angry and distorted I felt for, like, probably a solid three years,” she reveals.

“I think that we should be allowed time off. Three months. ‘Oh, it’s my three months off. You can’t photograph me,’” she told the magazine.

“I would love to be able to control being photographed.”
