Jennifer Aniston: 'I'll forever remember Friends'

The actress reveals why filming the hugely popular sitcom was such a special experience

While the hit sitcom was loved by fans worldwide for Jen, the decade was incredibly dear to her heart.
The 47-year-old star reunited with her co-stars for the highly anticipated tribute to director Jim Burrows.
Sitting alongside her fellow actors Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc, they reminisced about the show.
The cast of Friends became lifelong friends, thanks to director Jim Burrows.
"We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime and probably the best 10 years of our acting careers that we will forever remember," the 47-year-old quipped.
"We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together. We also sort of had a wonderful experience with the world loving us, as well - they connected with us."Everyone’s favourite café singer, Phoebe Buffay, portrayed by Lisa Kurdrow, spoke about how Jim was instrumental in making the group of actors become a gang of lifelong friends.
The 52-year-old recalled how the veteran director gave up his dressing room so that the six of them could bond.
"He gave us his dressing room, because it was big and it should have been, that's fine," she said.
"I think it was unspoken but we instinctively felt like we need to be friends, we need get along, we need to connect. So we started playing poker and Jimmy gave us his room so we could have a bigger hangout room for us."
The stars came out to honour the TV legend.
Coincidentally, the group inspired the episode “The One With All the Poker."
"He really encouraged us to get along, get to know one another," Matt LeBlanc added. "And be kind to one another, support one another, watch one another and help one another."
Sadly Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing, couldn’t make the show as he is currently starring in his self-penned West End play, The End of Longing.
Courteney pals around with The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco.
