Five children with three different women – for some, it could seem like a headache, but for Jude Law, his ever-expanding brood is what gives him the most happiness.
Already a father to Rafferty (18), Iris (13) and Rudy (12), his children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, as well as five-year-old Sophia, his daughter with Samantha Burke – Jude is excited to welcome another addition to his large family as ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding is only weeks from giving birth.
“Four children [and] another on the way… I’m a happy man these days!” he says.
Law keeps order as his brood becomes a handful!
Also stepfather to Sadie’s son Finlay (24), Jude is as well-known for his love life as he is for his acting roles, famously cheating on fiancée Sienna Miller with his children’s nanny.
But it’s his kids who are the light of his life, he said in an interview last week. “My 18-year-old’s in the business. My [stepson], a gifted musician on piano and guitar, studies music in college. They’re my bedrock.” Jude (42) met Catherine (23), an upcoming singer-songwriter, last year and enjoyed a “brief romance” with her in the Czech Republic while filming.
“Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child,” a spokesperson confirmed, adding that Jude would be supporting Catherine financially. The mum-to-be was spotted in London last week, sporting a large bump as she shopped for last-minute baby supplies, including a pram.
The singer, whose stage name is Cat Cavelli, was looking swell on a baby shopping blitz in London.
Along with his impending bundle of joy, 2015 is looking busy for Jude, whose latest film Spy, an action-comedy, premieres in May. He’s also currently filming biopic Genius with Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman in Manchester, UK.
