A source close to the band claims Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Harry Styles will split.
Last we heard, Niall said, “We’re literally taking time out to see our friends and see our family and reflect on what we’ve done over the last few years.”
Well, now the foursome – Zayn Malik walked out on the group last March – have reportedly decided not to renew their recording contract after wrapping their tour in October.
It seems like only yesterday I sat down with them in 2012 to discuss their love for each other, but a close source insists, “The 1D thing just ran its course. They’ll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers.”
So where to next? It’s said Liam wants to work behind the mic in songwriting and production, while Harry is looking toward Hollywood and Louis will be busy as a first-time dad.
