Could Stan Walker and his long-time love, Kiwi beauty Lou Tyson, be engaged?
The ‘Take It Easy’ singer teased fans with a bombshell on Snapchat today, sharing a series of videos of his gorgeous girlfriend in which she flashed a serious sparkler on her left hand.
“Should we tell everybody our news? Or nah?” Stan said from behind the camera, as he zoomed in on the bling.
“I don’t think they’re ready for it,” Lou replied.
However, when Woman’s Day reached out to Lou for comment, the brunette beauty revealed the pair were just playing around.
“We were just having some fun. Everyone wants us to be engaged,” she said.
“You guys will be the first to know when it happens, I’m sure!”
The couple have been dating for three and half years and faced the difficulties of long distance early on in their relationship, with Lou based in New Zealand and Stan in Sydney. However, the challenge only strengthened the couple’s bond, with Stan revealing it gave him the certainty to know they would make it.
“At the start of relationships, you are in the honeymoon period,” Stan revealed in an interview with New Idea in 2015.
“But because we were apart, we went through all the doubting and the hard stuff early, and after that, whether we get married next year or in 10 years, I know I can do this with Lou,” he went on.
The couple have been enjoying a sunny holiday in Aotearoa over the holiday period, with Lou posting plenty of festive snaps on her Instagram account.
