Ireland (the daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin) took to Twitter earlier today to reveal she had checked herself into the SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu for a two-week stay.
According to its website, the centre specialises in creating individual treatment plans for each patient and treats the psychological disorders and symptoms of addiction.
There were rumours Ireland had been forced into rehab due to substace abuse, but she told her Twitter followers she checked herself into rehab to deal with “emotional trauma”.
“Right now I just needed a breather. I needed a chance to work on myself and gather all the tools I need to overcome everything that I had been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in unreachable places,” she tweeted.
