Iman stars in the new Kenzo x H&M campaign, her first fashion shoot since losing her partner David Bowie, to cancer almost eight months ago.

The edgy campaign also features other famous faces including Chloe Sevigny, actress Rosario Dawson, Chance The Rapper and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez.

Kenzo designer Carol Lim told Vogue.co.uk Iman was in top-model form, and captured the brand’s youthful energy perfectly.

“Just wait until you see Iman. I mean she’s in her 60s and she makes us all look like we should just go home. She is inspiring. The way she carries herself is amazing.”

Wearing an off the shoulder tiered maxi dress swathed in bold watercolour leopard, Iman (61) looks stunning in the campaign’s quirky shoot.

Iman made her first public appearance this week, since the death of David Bowie, at Tom Ford’s show, New York Fashion week

The Somalian-born beauty also put in a public appearance this week, attending the star-studded Tom Ford presentation and party as part of New York Fashion Week.

The supermodel wore a lush velvet suit and a gold necklace by Hedi Slimane with her late husband’s name on it.

Speaking to People Iman, who lost her mother not long after David died, said she was trying to get through the year as best she could.

“It’s just been a tough year, but I’m holding up,” she said.

She posted a selfie to Instagram of herself getting ready for her “first night out since last year”.

Iman also snapped a picture of herself alongside fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford.

“Made it my first night out!” she captioned an Instagram photo. “Thanks @tomford for a very glam but intimate presentation.”
