Fan receives special hand written note from Adele at Auckland show

One very lucky Adele fan has received a hand written note from the singing superstar at Thursday’s Auckland concert.

A delighted Rebecca Crotty-Jones took to Instagram to share the news that her friend had found the letter under her seat.

Among the 40,000 concert-goers who attended the fabulous sell-out show, its believed only one fan was lucky enough to get a hand-penned note.

The multi-award winning star began the letter with “Kia Ora”.

“Thank you for coming to my first show in Auckland,” the note read, “I’m very excited to be here. I never thought I’d come.

“Are you from New Zealand. I ate some Kiwi chocolates today and they were 100,” Adele wrote.

“I hope you enjoy tonight.”

The songstress will play her second show in Auckland tonight and her final show for the New Zealand tour will be held tomorrow night.

So far reviews for the concert suggests the show lives up to, and exceeds, all expectations.

According to reports Adele delivered on all fronts: she was chatty, joked with her audience, and played all her hits to perfection.

Fans have been gushing on social media since Thursday’s show, with many calling her stellar performance “absolutely amazing”.

The star also paid a tribute to her hometown of London following Thursday’s attack on Westminster which left five dead and 50 injured.

She dedicated the song “Make You Feel My Love” to those caught in the attack, and touchingly referred to the city as her “soulmate”.
