A-list couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have announced the arrival of their second child together, a baby girl named Violet.
The tiny tot joins big sister Hazel, who was born in February 2014. John took to Twitter to announce the happy news, writing: “What better way to celebrate the 4th … than to announce our 4th family member!!! 2 weeks ago we met our beautiful daughter Violet #Happy4th”.
In April this year, Emily revealed that she and John were trying different strategies to help two-year-old Hazel adjust to the idea of her new sibling.
“She quite likes being top dog at the moment, I think,” the star joked during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show.
“I have lots of time with her now, so I do lots of things with her.”

Emily and John have been married for almost six years, tying the knot in a romantic ceremony in Italy’s picturesque Lake Como.
Emily will next appear on screen in the film adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ novel The Girl on the Train, while John is currently filming God Particle with Star Trek director JJ Abrams.
