It is unknown whether the cameo role will see Sheeran star as himself or a fictional character for the final installment of Bridget Jones’s Diary.
The 24-year-old ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hit maker joins a stellar cast for the third movie, including original cast members Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth, and former Grey’s Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey aka McDreamy.
Bridget Jones’ Baby is set for release in late 2016.
