After he was allegedly sliced in the face by Princess Beatrice in a knighting ceremony gone wrong, Ed Sheeran has been sworn to secrecy about discussing the incident.
Late last year, it was reported that the 25-year-old singer was left with a severe gash in his cheek face and in need of hospital treatment after the princess allegedly swung a sword over her shoulder, not realizing Ed was behind her.
During an appearance on Friday night’s ‘Graham Norton Show’, the singer looked extremely uncomfortable as the host quizzed him about the accident.
Graham’s questioning left the star squirming in his chair, and repeating that he was not allowed to talk about what happened.
“I can’t talk about this,” he insisted.
“I can’t tell the story, but you can say allegedly what happened.”
After allowing Graham to retell the story, Ed finally caved and admitted he had no idea how the story was leaked to the media.
“There wasn’t a lot of people there that night…I have no idea how that story came out, because it was so tight. And for like two weeks afterwards, I had this huge gash on my face and people would be like, ‘Oh, what happened?’ And I’d be like, ‘Aww, I fell.’ And then suddenly it came out…Uh, allegedly.”
